Game Day Cakes !!!Seahawks!!!

On the super bowl I made some fun cakes for my favorite team. You can choose any team and change the colors of the cakes and frosting. But why would you want to do that Seattle is really the best ya know!!
First I made a chocolate football cake. It was really easy. All you have to do is bake a 9x12 rectangle cake ! And Shape it

For the cake recipe click link

Cut off the corners to shape it like a football. then you frost it and lace it

Then you gotta make team cupcakes. I use a red velvet recipe here but I think it would be better to use a yellow cake or a white one. If you do red velvet whatever colors of the team use that in the batter so half the batter then dye it. I also did that with my frosting which you can use a cream cheese frosting or a basic buttercream. Bake and frost after cooled. Please have fun decorating we did. We made our own football and star chocolates and topped with sprinkles and such.

Gorgonzola Tortellini

This recipe came to me from one of my best friends from college. Her mother was Italian. They had me over for dinner and made me this because I was a vegetarian. It was delicious. I have been asking for the recipe for years. My friend came to my house to show me how to make it. I'm now just getting around to posting. This recipe is not my own but deserves a place among all this amazing food. YUM!

Ingredients
 3egg yolks
1 can evaporated milk
1/2c butter
1 pkg Romano grated cheese
1 pkg Parmesan cheese
3tbsp Sundried tomatoes
Gorgonzola For topping

Pasta I love Tortellini
Walnuts and Basil for topping

You can add cooked chicken or shrimp

Method
Stir egg yolks milk butter and grated cheeses on low until thickened. Add tomatoes, Pour over pasta and then the Gorgonzola cheese to melt over it all as Tiffany would say.

Waffles

I never ever likes waffles growing up. I just only loved soft pancakes. Something somewhere changed me. I think its really when I started cooking and experimenting to create my own recipes. I have an earlier past that has been insanely popular on pinterest but since I have made alterations this is the go to recipe, And my husband loves them. My kids do too. And really so does everyone.
Fun for the kids I like to put out fruit and nuts, chocolate chips and they can build their own waffles.

Ingredients
2c All-purpose Flour
3tsp Baking Powder
1/2tsp Salt
2tbsp Sugar
2tbsp Brown sugar
1 1/2c Milk
2 Egg Yolks
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
1 stick (1/2 Cup) Salted Butter, Melted
 Egg Whites
Method
Preheat the waffle iron to the regular setting.

Sift together all of the dry ingredients... the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugars in a bowl.
Whisk together milk, 2 egg yolks, and vanilla. Pour over the dry ingredients and stir. Pour in the melted butter and continue mixing until combined.
In a New SUPER CLEAN Bowl beat the egg whites with a whisk until stiff. Using a mixer works best for making whites stiff. Slowly fold the egg whites into the batter.
Pour the recommended amount into your waffle iron and follow its settings.
Top with wonderful topping or lots of butter and Syrup... MMMMMMM MMM mmmmmmm
